Matching uppercase and Lower alphabets
Preparation:
Activity 2a
Matching sight words
Preparation:
Place the cup facing downwards and trace out the circle.
Write the sight words on both the paper and on the base of the cup.
Get your child to read the sight word as she places the cup on the correct spot.
Additional activity 2b:
Lay the paper on floor.
Each circle represents a parking lot.
Line up all the toy cars.
Shout out a sight word and get your child to drive to its parking lot.
(I wrote the words on a note pad. I shout out the word according to the note pad and then reveal the answer to her after she drove it to the parking lot. )
Activity 3:
Match and form sentences
Background: I bought two paw patrol soft toy and wanted to surprise her. She was Super happy and love the game.
Additional materials:
Scissors
Empty tissue boxes
Toys: i used -
LEGO girl, lego bear
Paw patrol soft toy (Rubble and Rocky)
Masking Tapes
Green and yellow boxes (from diaso)
Preparation (please adapt accordingly):
Draw the circles and Write the following sentences and cut them
into strips.
1) I see Jane.
2) I see a bear.
3) Look! A green box.
4) Open the yellow box.
Place the toys in the tissue boxes and diaso boxes.
Place the corresponding strips of sentences infront of the boxes.
Write the words on the paper cups.
Get your child to match the paper cups to the circles.
Read the sentence and reveal the toy.

Mini pegs from diaso
Toys: I used
LEGO girl and LEGO boy and LEGO bear
Preparation:
Draw the circles and Write the following sentences and cut them into strips:
1) I am a girl.
2) You are a boy.
3) It is a bear.
Write each word on the base of a cup.
Write the alphabets on both sides of the pegs for each word.
E.g “am”. You will need to write “a” on both sides of a peg and “m” on both sides of another peg. Do for all words except “girl”, “bear” and “boy”.
Place the pegs under their respective cups.
Place the LEGO girl under the cup with the word “girl”, and similarly for boy and bear.
Get your child to read And open the cup and peg the words on the base of the cup.
